Description

The AI4Artic Automated Sea Ice Products dataset contains 461 files of Sentinel-1 SAR and AMSR-2 microwave radiometer data of the Arctic area in 2018 and 2019 with corresponding ice charts from the Danish Meteorological Institute. There is over 300Gb of data in netCDF format. The Sentinel-1 data is at 90m resolution with 40 x 40m pixel spacing and the AMSR-2 data is resampled to the S-1 pixels. As the dataset comes with both images and associated bounding boxes, it can be applied to either detection or segmentation machine learning applications.
